I am a secular counselor based in Kansas City, MO. I offer telehealth and in person therapy. My office is located in the Brookside area of KC.
My areas of expertise and experience are in trauma and ptsd, chronic illness and physical disabilities, chronic pain, stress, substance use, and mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc.). I also have experience and interest in working on burnout, existential, identity, and career concerns. I have extensive experience working with other helping or health professionals including other therapists, nurses, social workers, among a variety of other clinicians.
Overall, I try to provide a place of acceptance where clients should feel free to explore any concerns or experiences that they are dealing with without fear of judgement or shame. I believe that we are here to take care of each other and that I do that by helping others be the best they can be.
